These locks were super easy to install and you don't need a drill or screws. They do not leave any marks or holes in your cabinets and it's completely invisible. We especially need to keep our grandchild out of our lower kitchen cabinets since he's always in the kitchen getting into stuff. They use a strong adhesive instead of screws to attach to the cabinets. Each lock also comes with an "off/on" switch which is great in case you need to get in and put back a few things in a certain cabinet and don't want to have to keep getting the magnetic knob. Usually, childproofing is such a hassle, however this product made it super easy! Overall, I think this is probably one of the best child proofing cabinet locks that I have ever owned. Read more 58 of 65 people found the following review helpful Hidden lock system, strong magnet key, don't lose it!, By This review is from: Safety Baby Magnetic Cabinet Locks - No Tools Or Screws Needed, 4 Locks + 1 Key (Baby Product)  Please check my video for the full review, but here's summary: - Instillation can be a little bit of work as you have to figure out where the lock would reach each other - Magnet key is strong, can open through thick 3/4" cabinet door - You have the option of leaving it always unlock by just flipping a switch - Remember to leave it unlock after install for 24" for the adhesive to settle and it will be really strong - Put a key in a convenience and easy to find location, it has a key holder to keep it in place. Overall it seems it work pretty much on most of the cabinet I have even with the Ikea one without bottoms. You can mount them sideways and they still works perfectly fine. The only thing I couldn't get to work was the sink cabinet but no other lock I have try work either except a zip tied style. Came across this product and decided to give it a try. When I received the item, the first thing I noticed was how nice the locks and magnet were packaged. They came in a nice hard plastic container. When I opened them up the actual lock is made of what feels like a heavy duty plastic.it took me about 3 minutes to install the first one. Then about a minute for each other one installed. Depending on your cabinet hardware you might have to move the lock to the side more than you would think. I had a couple of concerns: 1. That they would be cheaply made and would not last. - As mentioned above both pieces are heavy duty and I feel confident they will last. Only time will tell 2.
