It was better than I expected. However, note that if you're replacing a set from an older door, you might have to drum-sand the hole a bit bigger. The way this set is designed, it's expecting a 2 to 2 1/8 opening. Some of the older (cheaper) sets didn't need the hole that big. I have in the past attempted to replace a door hinge like this in a rental several years agao and wasnt able to get the oridingal door handle off. Why I think I had better luck with this, was becuae I could find a youtube video that had a similar door handle to this one, to help me get the original and new handle on/off.
